At our January 2011 membership meeting a decision was made by the members present to permanently change our meeting nights as follows: Board meetings will now be on the 2nd THURSDAY of each month, and Membership meetings will be on the 4th THURSDAY of each month, except for July, August and December when there will be no membership meetings. All meetings will be held at the Cannstatter VV, starting at 8:00 pm.
In a effort to increase attendance a our monthly membership meeting we are going to start membership meeting attendance lottery.
Starting with the March 24, 2011 membership meeting we will establish a $ 20.00 prize. A member’s name will be pulled randomly from a current membership list. If that member is present at the meeting he/she will win the $ 20.00. If not the $ 20.00 will be added to the April meeting's prize making it $ 40.00 and so on until someone wins. Winners names will be published in the newsletters.
Members MUST be present at the meeting to win.
Exceptions: No membership meeting in July, August, or December. The Membership Meeting for November will be November 20, 2012.
Please take note: When we have to cancel or change meeting dates, we will e-mail the members who have supplied us with their e-mail, addresses. We will also post the change on our web site www.kolpingphilly.com, and on Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/kolpingphiladelphia. For those members who do not have access to a computer, if you are not sure if there is a meeting please call the Cannstatter’s 215-332-0121 for information. |
